Solving energy and environmental problems is an essential goal for sustainable society. We tackle these technological issues by developing energy storage and conversion technologies such as rechargeable batteries, fuel cells, electrolysis cells and catalysts. Based on Solid State Ionics, Material science and Electrochemistry, we are developing high-energy-density and robust batteries, highly efficient mass/energy conversion technologies and new material synthesis technologies.
